For the past few months, Georgia has been taking the Fraser Valley by storm.

Miss Teen Fraser Valley — who lives in Chilliwack and goes to high school in Abbotsford — has been traveling and blogging about what she’s found, with her blog and photos posted on the Miss Teen Canada site. She earned her title back in March, and is now in Toronto to make a run for the Miss Teen Canada crown.

Georgia S. is up against 56 other young women vying for the national title. She describes herself as an enthusiastic young woman, and her favourite activities reflect that. She loves hosting and planning events within her school and community, going on hikes, spending time with her family and creating her own costumes for cosplay at fan conventions.

She plans to be an actor, and also hopes to achieve a degree in psychology.

Winning the title could get her there. In addition to being feted in Toronto this week with surprises and fun, she’s in line to win cash prizes and a scholarship. Each year, the Miss Teen Canada organization awards more than $20,000. Earning votes from her fan base will help her win, and she will take part in competitions to further win over the judges.
