Four the fourth year running, the Abbotsford Islamic Centre has opened its doors and invited the public to learn about the religion.

The event is put on, in conjunction with the Bridging Gaps Foundation, for the purpose of bridging the gap between Muslims and non-Muslims in the community and around the globe.

The theme of this year’s event was Jesus Christ – who is a prophet for Muslims – from an Islamic perspective.

Guests were treated to snacks, tours of the mosque, Arabic calligraphy, henna tattooing, Hijab tryouts, a kids’ corner and more.

The event brought many guests ranging from religious leaders, to academics to plain curious citizens.
