Win with the Babies draw supports Abbotsford wildlife centre

Tickets for a 50/50 draw are being sold until May 17 to raise money for Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center in Abbotsford.

The Win with the Babies draw will have a maximum prize of $10,000, depending on how many tickets are sold. The winner takes half of the amount raised.

Single tickets are $10, five tickets are $20, a 15-ticket pack is $30, and 1oo tickets are $50.

The deadline to purchase is noon on Friday, May 17, with the draw taking place at 1 p.m. on May 18.

Tickets can be sold and purchased only in B.C. and are available at elizabethswildlife.rafflenexus.com.

Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center cares for injured and orphaned wild birds and small animals.

The centre receives funding primarily from public and business donations, both in-kind and monetary.

Each year EWCS admits more than 1,500 birds/animals, with approximately half being fully rehabilitated and released.

The site receives over 7,000 phone calls per year with questions regarding situations involving injured/orphaned wildlife. It serves not only Abbotsford, but a vast regional area.
