Police find vehicle of missing Abbotsford woman

The search continues for 33-year-old Sonam Ramola of Abbotsford, who was reported missing on Wednesday (Dec. 17).

A press release from the Abbotsford Police Department indicates that shortly after 9 p.m. that day, investigators found her vehicle – a black 2020 Hyundai Elantra – beneath the Mission Bridge near Tall Road and Riverside Street.

Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue was deployed to the area that evening and continued their search on Wednesday.

Ramola is described as five-foot-three with a medium build, black hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a long, puffy green jacket.

Anyone who might have seen her at Matsqui Trail Regional Park on Dec. 17 between 4 and 9 p.m. or who might have information is asked to contact police at 604-859-5225.
