Westbound traffic on Highway 1 was backed up Tuesday afternoon following a four-vehicle crash at the Chilliwack-Abbotsford border.
The collision happened before 4:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway on July 2 mid-span on the Vedder Canal Bridge.
Westbound traffic was backed up to Lickman Road.
Paramedics, firefighters and police were on scene. Emergency crews called for at least two tow trucks to the site.
