People celebrate nation with parade, live music and more

Thousands of people filled the streets of Abbotsford for the Canada Day parade on Monday, July 1.

The parade, which travelled down South Fraser Way from Bourquin Crescent to Trethewey Street, had 100 entries and took almost two hours to complete.

Following the parade, people made their way to Exhibition Park for activities, live music, dancing, cultural performances, a mini car show, miniature golf, and more. There were also a large number of food trucks, co-ordinated by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival.
