The 2024 soccer schedules for the UFV Cascades men's and women's soccer teams has been released by Canada West.

The 2024 Canada West regular season schedules for the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades men's and women's soccer teams have been released.

CW unveiled the full schedules in a press release on Monday (June 24).

The men open the season with a road trip up north to take on the University of Northern British Columbia Timberwolves on Aug. 23 and 24. They return to Abbotsford's Rotary Stadium for home opener weekend and games against the University of British Columbia Okanagan Heat on Aug. 30 and the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack on Aug. 31.

The men have a favourable schedule in October to end the season, with five of the final six games on home pitch. The other game in October is in Langley against the Trinity Western University Spartans, meaning a minimal amount of travel is required that month. The men close the regular season by hosting the Victoria Vikes on Oct. 20.

The women open the season with a trip to Kelowna to take on the UBCO Heat on Sept. 6 and then travel to Kamloops to battle the TRU Wolfpack on Sept. 7. Home opener weekend for the women sees the club host the Mount Royal Cougars on Sept. 13 and then the Vikes on Sept. 15.

September closes with four straight road games for the women, but October features five of the final six games at Abbotsford's Rotary Stadium. The lone road game in October is in Langley against the Trinity Western University Spartans. The women close the regular season by hosting UNBC on Oct. 20.

The women are coming off a 2023 campaign that saw them finish in fifth place in the Pacific Division with a record of 6-5-3. They were eliminated by the Vikes in the first round of the playoffs. The men finished at 3-13 and failed to make the playoffs.
